Merit Philadelphia is located in Malvern, which is less than 30 miles from historic Philadelphia, 10 miles from historic Valley Forge National Park and 10 miles from the King of Prussia Mall, the East Coasts’ premier shopping destination. Philadelphia, known as the city of Brotherly Love, is one of the most historic cities in America. You can visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Besides the historic sites, Philadelphia also offers many art and science museums, parks, shopping, and of course, the famous Philly Cheesesteak!
If you enjoy a more rural historic destination then visit Valley Forge National Park, site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of the Continental Army, under General George Washington. The park also offers 30 miles of trails to walk or enjoy a bike ride. If you’re looking for something other than a historic education, then head on over to King of Prussia Mall, ranked the largest, by size, in the nation.
