The Merit S-MAK (Stiffened Mini Access Kits) kits provide access to the vascular system and facilitate the placement of 0.035″ (0.89mm) or 0.038″ (0.97mm) guide wires. The S-MAK kits allow you to start small, minimizing bleeding and trauma to the surrounding tissue, which may reduce the difficulty of access through scar tissue. Kits are available in 4F and 5F and include the co-axial introducer/stiffened dilator pair, 21G echo enhanced needle and 0.018″ (0.46 mm) guide wire. For your convenience, all kit components are also available sterile, stand alone.
