Features & Benefits

The Liberator Beacon Tip Locking Stylet provides enhanced visualization of the locking mechanism, enabling clinicians to know exactly how far they have progressed. With a locking mechanism located near the distal portion of the lead, the device can be locked as far distally as it progresses within the lead, facilitating the creation of the rail effect to the locked position of the lead.

FEATURES

  • Universal sizing
  • Locking mechanism 7.6 cm from distal tip
  • Latch pin prevents premature locking
  • Threadable braided handle for improved clinician control/grip

RAIL EFFECT

The Liberator and One-Tie® used together provide two traction points along the length of the lead. The first step is visualizing the location of distal locking with the Liberator and the One-Tie and proximal compression establishing the rail between the two points. An established rail and use of the One-Tie in conjunction with the Liberator provides improved central support of extraction sheaths during challenging lead extraction procedures.1
