KIM RUZEK
SVP, Global Quality Assurance
Kim Ruzek joined Merit in 2023 as the Senior Vice President of Global Quality Assurance. She has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.
Prior to joining Merit, Kim held leadership positions at Insulet, Smiths Medical, Baxter, St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific and Covidien. Since 2004, Kim has been focused on consent decree, corporate warning letter, warning letter resolution and prevention. She has established and developed corporate quality systems, product and process improvement plans, regulatory submissions, registrations and communication strategies.
Kim began her professional career with Honeywell as a Process Engineer and transitioned to the Medical Device Industry as a Six Sigma and Lean Master Blackbelt. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
