Adam Smith joined Merit Medical in 2018 and became Chief Commercial Officer in 2025, leading the development and expansion of Merit’s global commercial activities.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Franchises, managing the EMEA and U.S. teams.
Adam excels in developing business strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving profitable growth. He has held various leadership positions, starting in the International Division and later transitioning to the EMEA region as General Manager of Operations in 2021.
Prior to Merit, Adam had over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, technology startups, and the recreation sector. Adam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Accounting from the University of Phoenix and is fluent in Korean.
