Mr. McDonnell is a financial executive with more than 38 years of experience providing financial and accounting advice and oversight to life science and technology companies and over 24 years serving as a public company CFO. The Board believes Mr. McDonnell’s depth of understanding of financial management, accounting principles and practices, capital markets and financing transactions strengthens the Board’s oversight of the Company’s finance and accounting policies, procedures and practices. The Board also believes Mr. McDonnell’s industry experience enables him to contribute to the Board’s evaluation and oversight of merger and acquisition and capital funding transactions, as well as the Company’s investor relations and shareholder outreach efforts.
